BURJ DUBAI
Burj Dubai, the biggest tower of the planet with a height of more than
800 meters once it is completed, will be Dubai's new landmark by the
end of 2008. Sources reveal that one quarter of the final height is
actually already constructed. You see 56 stories on our pictures taken
in July 2006. Around the Burj Dubai, so-called "Dubai Downtown" is
under construction at the moment, consisting of the "Dubai Mall" and
Dubai "Old Town". Developer Emaar is promising a new level of
lifestyle here, comparing it with the likes of Paris and New York.
